Hello there, my name is Ed Hayden. I'm a self-taught electronics enthusiast, born and raised in Florida. For the last decade, I've enjoyed imagining, designing, and creating circuit boards for many different applications, mostly surrounding my other interests. I enjoy the challenges that come with creating electronics from scratch and I'm always looking to improve.
I got my start in electronics when I discovered the Arduino micro-controller. I was taking a web-page design course in community college and found programming to be quite difficult. It was this challenge that inspired me to further pursue programming, which is how I stumbled across the Arduino. I read everything I could about programming with Arduino and found the world of electronics to be very interesting! It was at this point that I took a deep dive into electronics.
I've held positions in stock crews for stores and hospitals over the years while pursuing degrees in business and computer science. For a brief period I also worked in Information Technology for a major healthcare provider servicing Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. I've been working as an apprentice for an electrical contractor in Pasco county since November, 2019. My goal is to obtain the licensing required to become a journeyman electrician.
