PROFILE

My name is Ed Hayden and I'm a self-taught electronics enthusiast, born and raised near Tampa, Florida. For the last decade I've enjoyed imagining, designing, and creating circuit boards for various applications. Many of these circuits were designed specifically to improve aspects of my other interests, but I occasionally build circuits simply to try out new ideas. I enjoy the challenges that come with creating electronics from scratch and I'm always looking to improve!

Skills

• Interpreting/drafting schematics and blueprints

• Proficient with Fritzing, Eagle CAD, and KiCad

• Experience with PCB assembly, layout, fine pitch SMD soldering and reflow

• Experience in all Windows Suite applications including Excel and Access

• Software development Skills with knowledge of HTML, Javascript, Visual Basic, C, Python, and Kotlin 

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

• I obtained my AA Degree with a focus in business May, 2012

• I pursued an AS Degree in Computer Programming and Analysis before moving to residential electric work

• Between degrees, I've studied electronics and programming, along with computer graphics and design

Circuits should look as good as they work. Using 3D modeling techniques was an obvious choice for me.
